To strengthen our team, we are looking for a sales-driven personality with a strong hunter mindset who actively identifies new market potential in industrial environments and builds sustainable customer relationships.
About your tasks
In this role, you will take on a central sales function for the DACH market.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Actively identifying and acquiring new industrial customers
• Building and developing new key accounts and long-term customer relationships
• Identifying high-potential applications and developing them into concrete projects
• Systematically building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline using our CRM system, Salesforce
• Selling innovative laser, photonics, and optoelectronic solutions
• Advising decision-makers, production managers, and R&D teams
• Analyzing customer requirements and developing tailored solutions together with internal experts and partners
• Planning and conducting customer meetings, demonstrations, and technical presentations
• Managing the full sales process — from first contact to successful closing
• Continuously monitoring the market and competitors, while identifying new trends and applications
About your profile
For this position, you bring a strong combination of technical understanding, sales drive, and entrepreneurial thinking:
• Experience in technical B2B sales, business development, or field sales
• Strong hunter mindset: proactive, persistent, and closing-oriented
• Good understanding of the German industrial market and relevant decision-making processes
• Experience selling complex technical products, ideally in areas such as:
o Photonics / laser technology
o Optics / optoelectronics
o Automation / machine vision
o Manufacturing technologies, especially joining technologies
• Ability to quickly understand complex technical topics and communicate them clearly
• Confident appearance, strong negotiation skills, and excellent networking abilities
• High level of independence in the field, combined with close collaboration within the team
• Structured, customer-oriented, and results-driven way of working
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• Willingness to travel regularly within the sales territory
